ChristianCoffeehouse.info is your starting point for information about Christian coffeehouses.
We host the Internet's most complete, up-to-date list of Christian coffeehouse Web sites, and the standard online discussions on "What is a Christian coffeehouse?", starting a Christian coffeehouse, and model Christian coffeehouse goals.
We are an independent ministry, not affiliated with any radio station, bookstore, church, etc. We are non-profit and non-denominational.
All of our services are free of charge.
How to reach us
Please read the following before contacting us:
- Venues, artists, managers, and others: Please do not add us to your mailing list. Our schedule does not permit reading promotional mail, newsletters, etc. And do not even think of sending us spam, forwards of virus warnings, urban legends, inspirational stories, etc. But if you have something that is specifically appropriate to us, individualized e-mails are welcome.
- You used to list my venue. Why did you remove it? In March 2006, we tightened our policy on what types of venues we list. We no longer list venues that are essentially concert series, even if they include "coffeehouse" in the name, even if they have a snack bar or something similar as an incidental side operation, or even if they have a separate coffeehouse-style fellowship time before or after the live music. We've done our best to figure out what you do, based on what's on your Web site, but that's all we know about you. Please make sure that your site shows that you actually are a coffeehouse (photos of your venue posted on your site, with attendees sitting at tables, sipping coffee or at least having it on the table in front of them, while live music is shown being performed in the same room, are ideal, though certainly not required). If we have misunderstood what you do, please contact us and explain your operation in detail.
- Trying to get booked? Don't contact us. We do not book or promote events, nor do we run any coffeehouses. Rather, we are an information source. We provide information about coffeehouses run by others. So if you're here because you want a booking, go to our list of Christian coffeehouse Web sites, choose the coffeehouses in which you're interested, and check their Web sites for information on getting booked at their facilities.
- Trying to get in touch with a venue we list? We can't help you with that. We only provide links to venue Web sites. Contact the venue directly through the information on its Web site. If e-mail to the venue bounces, the venue's phone is disconnected, etc., we can't help you, although we would like to know, so that we can remove it from our list.
- Want to add a venue to our list? Read the instructions to make sure the venue qualifies. If it does, simply contact us to request a listing. No need to get fancy; a quick e-mail with the address of your venue's home page is sufficient. There is no charge to be listed. You don't have to be affiliated with a venue to request that it be listed.
- Are we listing something that we should remove? Contact us and tell us why, and we'll take it from there.
- We use a spam filter, so if we have not replied to you in a reasonable time, it could be that your e-mail was filtered out in error; so if this happens, try reaching us by phone at 985/781-0830.
Here's our e-mail address: info@ChristianCoffeehouse.info. We'll gladly provide a snail-mail address on legitimate request.
